To celebrate the last day of ski lessons, Crested Butte put on the Cruiser Cup, a ski race for all of the students. Despite never having skied this particular run before and the bone-chilling wind, Hazel's class went for it and performed admirably.
There may have been some crying, but we won't talk about that.
The course was the real training course for the kid ski team at Crested Butte. Hazel looked very, very small in comparison.
Hazel and Evie chose to race together since they were just a tad bit intimidated.
At the end of the day, there was a ceremony for all of the students. They got to stand on the podium and look cute for their parents.
Hazel's progress report. She's a level 4! Woot! We're a proud Mom and Dad.
Here's to hoping she'll be a level 6 or 7 by the end of next year's lessons.
