Typical weekend

Hazel and Tygh don't slow down, especially during the Halloween season.

Friday was the annual Fright Night at the community center. This was the best photo (of the kids) of the bunch.

On Saturday, after a night spent at Cameron's house with 5 other kids (until 11:30pm!) while Mom and Dad went to a party, Hazel slayed the competition at her cyclocross race. She made sure to get in a proper warmup.

She won so she got to stand on the top step of the podium. This is her "pleased but very tired" face.

Sunday was spent shredding the trails of Rabbit Valley and putting Tygh in a box.

That's how we roll

This past weekend, Hazel made her theatrical debut as Sparkle in Circus Freaks. She was perfectly cast.

The next day was spent on the mountain at The Trailhead Children's Museum BBQ fundraiser. Dad dressed up as Mad Jack and scared Tygh half to death.

Fruita

Here in Colorado, we have a funny thing called Fall Break. Mom finds this funny because Hazel has been in school, what maybe 6 weeks?

Anyway. The Barkers decamped to Fruita with friends for four nights so Mom and Dad could ride bikes and Hazel and Tygh could play.

There was some family hiking.

Some general silliness.

Some singletrack riding for Hazel.

Some self-portraiture.

Some playing around in the trailer with Olivia.

Some performing.

Some surprised looks.

And some car ornaments.
