A couple weeks ago, Hazel started swim lessons- real swim lessons, not baby lessons. Mom and Dad breathed a sigh of relief because they don't have to be in the pool for real swim lessons and also, Hazel was ready. She loves them and talks about them all week long. In the first 10 minutes, her swim teacher was able to get her to do all kinds of things she will never do for Mom and Dad (what's up with that??).
Afterwards, Haze came home and helped Mom eat, I mean MAKE, dinner. She's quite the cook, this one.
Hazel has, of course, been to lots of bike races. Her rain boots are ready and she's stoked to get muddy and yell "go bikes!"
Hazel visited her buddy Silas last week. Hazel and Silas were born just a few weeks apart. They hadn't seen each other in a while but they instantly hit it off again.
Hazel spent the weekend of August 28 and 29th in Estes Park, Colorado with her parents as they visited Nanna and Poppy. Daddy tried to explain that he has a daddy too, but that kind of blew Hazel's mind.
Hazel took her grandparents on a hike around a lake that Hazel's dad wobbled around when he was a toddler as well. She also explored the high mountain playgrounds, ate well and generally had a fantastic time. Next summer, summer camp in Colorado?
