Hazel and Tygh started their spring break at Crested Butte and continued it in Moab. It's tough to be a Barker.
While Mom didn't get to ski due to injury, Dad said Hazel was skiing so well and so fast, he could barely keep up. Look for Hazel on the Peak next year.
The next day, the family headed to Moab, where we camped in a BLM campground next to the Colorado River. This guy sent his greetings from Canyon Country.
Camping mornings with kids are...laid back.
Fashionista Hazel has style, even while camping.
Hazel did her best hiking yet, out-sprinting Mom and Dad and looking for arches in every nook and cranny.
Mom and Hazel went on a girls-only hike to Sand Dune Arch, hands-down the best arch for kids due to the huge sand box at the base.
Hazel practiced her rock climbing skills pretty much everywhere.
After completing all of the requirements, Hazel became a bona fide Junior Ranger. So proud.
Mom trying to avoid getting hit with the hiking stick and Hazel raising her arms in triumph.
Campfires are a requirement.
The campground was bordered by the most scenic bike path ever.
Hiking to more arches on a colder day.
Lion King moment for Dad and Tygh.
Lunch on the side of the road. Serious stuff.
