So busy she couldn't post

Actually, the truth is that she hasn't been around too much to post! Hazel has been busy hanging out with her Nana and Poppy in Bend, cheering Mom and Dad on at bike races, staying with Grandma and Grandpa in Seattle, and staying with Uncle Nate, Auntie Sissa, and Baby Eli at home in Portland.

Whew. That's a lot for a 2-year-old.

Hazel has some really great pictures from her time in Bend to show you, but they are all blurry. :( Maybe Poppy can fix that? (hint, hint- thanks, Poppy!)

For now, here is a sampling:

Cheering Mom on at the Tabor Circuit Race this past weekend. Hazel was concentrating hard on Mom's positioning and tactics. "Get in the drops!" she yelled at her.

Hazel spent this past week at Grandma and Grandpa's house. While Mom and Dad enjoyed some downtime, Grandma enjoyed dressing Hazel up in tutus and t-shirts with funny sayings. Hazel had a fabulous time sleeping late and playing with Grandma and Grandpa.
Hazel then spent the weekend with Uncle Nate, Auntie Sissa, and Baby Eli while Mom and Dad were on Mt. Hood. She tried her damnedest to teach Eli about ballerinas. Eli subsequently tried to eat the ballerina book.

For now, Hazel is back home with Mom and Dad and everyone is very happy to see each other and return to normal life...for 5 days at least. Then, everyone piles in the car for the annual Kaiser Family Memorial Day Weekend at the cabin AKA Play Sardines in a Sunny and Beautiful Place.

Good Times Ahead!
