Memorial Day...where the sun shines

We try not to get down about the rain, but this year has been particularly wet and gloomy and so, it was with a fair amount of excitement that we headed to the cabin in Central Washington for Memorial Day weekend.

All of Hazel's favorites were there: aunts and uncles and Baby Eli and Grandma and Grandpa and Mom and Dad and sunshine and a beach and a swimming pool and a playground.

On the first day there, she practiced chillaxin' in the sun:

And then she showed off her feats of super-human strength:

On the second day, she showed Baby Eli how to build a tower. He promptly ate it:

And, on the third day, she tried to dig to China. She almost made it.

No trip to the cabin is complete without a little Daddy bonding time:
