January

Apologies all around for the lack of posting. From winter break to starting back at school to Mom and Dad's jobs, life has been full and busy. Add in to that the amazing amount of powder we have received and Mom and Dad had zero time to update this blog. They were too busy skiing.

Heather came to visit! (Jeanie too but she didn't stay very long. Stay longer next time, Jeanie.) Heather and Hazel were both thrilled, mainly because they each got to do things like paint their nails and put sparkles on their face. Mom isn't so good at those things.

New Year's Eve in Crested Butte. We went for the fireworks and torchlight parade.

Kissing Mt. T. goodbye. He doesn't hold back.

Our local ski hill is 5 minutes from the house. This boy doesn't understand the fuss about skiing, especially considering that he can't even walk yet.

Hazel has taken up nordic skiing! She is enrolled in after-school class twice a week so Mom thought it would be a good idea to take her out before class started.

Lego nights are becoming a mainstay at our house. Both kids can play together without taking the other's Legos. Or something like that.

Hazel is now a Daisy! Her troop meets every two weeks. So far, they have earned one badge.

While his sister is in ski lessons and his parents ski, Mr. T. plays at the museum (for $25 a day!). He was angry with Mom because he did not want to leave the trains behind to go home and take a nap.

Skiing with friends at our local ski hill is the best! Though it might be better if we could see that friend's face...
