On a sunny Sunday in June, the Meeuwsens and the Barkers floated 12 miles down the Gunnison River. The babies were left at home because no baby wants to spend hours in a life jacket and no adult wants to spend 5 hours with a baby in a life jacket.
The rafting trip was not without incident but it was full of adventure. Cameron and her mom fell in once. The raft ran in to a bridge. The raft ran in to a thicket. All in all, it was a fantastic adventure. All kids survived and begged to do it again.
