Oregon State Fair

To celebrate the last REAL day of summer before Mom had to go back to school, Mom took Hazel to the Oregon State Fair.  There, they may not have ridden any heart-stopping rides, but they did partake in all the fair had to offer a 13-month-old.

Hazel was alternately fascinated and scared by the clown show.

She took little interest in the junior rodeo, instead eyeing the bleacher stairs with a keen sense of curiosity...

...and within seconds she had escaped to climb the stairs over and over and over again, completely covering herself with rodeo dust in the process.

After her adventure in arena stairs, Hazel was hungry and therefore partook in a state fair rite of passage: the corndog.

She then covered herself in curly fries because Summer '09 only happens once and why not?  We're at the State Fair!
